Halloween Bible Reading Countdown
One of my favorite holidays is Halloween. I love the change in season from summer to fall. I love all the fun decorations. I love the festive activities and dressing up in costume. With this being one of my favorites, I had to make something with all things “Halloween!”
I follow a bunch of different awesome creators and many do different types of checklists or countdowns for Halloween but I haven’t seen much with a Biblical twist. Since we are about bringing God into the every day I wanted to merge the 2 ideas together and create something where we can celebrate Halloween while keeping it centered on God. So I created a Halloween Bible Reading Countdown.
This printable is a 24x36” poster. Each day, starting on October 1, your children can color the date’s picture and read the corresponding Bible verse. The verses selected for this countdown are all about trusting in God and not being afraid. Halloween can be scary for kids so let’s use this time to remind them that we don’t have to live in fear!

Printing is a breeze! You can print it at your local print shop as an engineer print. I always print my posters at my local Office Depot as an engineering print or blueprint. It’s a great coloring activity for your kids! Grab crayons, markers, or colored pencils and have at it. Your kids will have fun coloring all the festive characters and details. Color the drawing following the numbers for each day of the month.
Read a Bible verse every day from October 1 – October 31! At the bottom of the Halloween countdown there is a Bible verse to read for each day. These verses will help encourage your kids throughout this spooky season.
